Justine Muller completed her bachelor of Fine Arts at the National Art School in Sydney 2007.
Muller is represented in both State and private collections, including the Macquarie Bank Group Collection, Sydney City Archives State Library.
Exhibitions include the Art Gallery of NSW- Dobell Drawing Prize 2012/2013, Portia Geach Memorial Prize 2013- SH Ervin Gallery, Paddington Art Prize 2014/2017, City of Sydney “Art and About” Festival 2014 -St James and Martin Place Stations, The Moran Photographic Prize, Juniper Hall 2015/2018. HeadOn Festival solo exhibition – Understanding my Country 2017 and achieved Guardian Australia’s list of best and most important photos 2017.
Muller’s last solo exhibition, ‘Barka,The Forgotten River’a collaboration with Respected artist and elder Badger Bates opened at Broken Hill Regional and is set to tour.
When traveling in Australia Muller is a contributor for Instagram feed “everydayaustralia” set up by Gold Walkley award-winning journalist Andrew Quilty, sharing stories and photos that celebrate Australian diversity.
Muller is also member of ‘Movers and Shapers’ a collective of female artists inspired by the landscape.
